Report: ROH Looking to Bolster Women’s Division; Reached Out to Top Knockout

ROH has been looking to revitalize their Women of Honor division by having Jonathan Gresham take over the creative direction and now it seems like they are looking to sign some new stars. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, one of those stars is IMPACT Wrestling’s Kncockouts Champion, the newly signed Deonna Purazzo.

“we’re told that ROH has also been reaching out to talent about coming in. One of those was IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo, who was offered at IMPACT contract around the same time. We’ve heard that ROH wanted to know more about Purrazzo’s contract status.”

Mike’s Take: IMPACT has been open in the past about letting their talents work in other promotions. But Purazzo is one of their top stars and there is some importance to exclusivity there. I don’t see any reason why they couldn’t collaborate and trade talent here and there. It’s long overdue for the companies to put aside petty differences.

Shoutout to Jack for the story.
