Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that there’s another COVID outbreak in the WWE Performance Center. The issue arose last Friday and many members of the roster and staff have been placed in quarantine due to contact tracing. According to Meltzer the outbreak could have a negative impact on this week’s Halloween Havoc episode of NXT:
“There have been reports that it includes people scheduled for NXT’s Halloween Havoc show Wednesday and that aspects of the show are going to have to be changed.”
Mike’s Take: These things are going to happen until we get a vaccine, but man, do they really need to go live every week? They almost need to be tested daily at this point until they figure something out.
The report goes on to state that no one in NXT has tested positive and they are still scheduled to have around 100 fans at the show this week. What the updated lineup will look like remains to be seen.
