Bronson Rechsteiner, the son of Rick Steiner (Rob Rechsteiner) one half of the greatest tag team ever with his “little” brother Scott the Steiners Brothers, tried out for WWE this week according to Dave Meltzer. No word on how it went. Bronson was an excellent fullback for Kennesaw State University and went on to sign with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free-agent. I’m sure the pro wrestling connection was not lost on Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, who was college roommates with Brian Pillman and is a wrestling fan. Unfortunately Bronson was cut prior to the season and was not picked up anywhere.
Mike’s Take: If the WWE or AEW doesn’t sign him I’d hope a smaller company like ROH or IMPACT would take a look at him. IMPACT has connections with OVW who has a great track record of producing talent. Side note, if the 49ers Fullback Kyle Juszcyk goes down I hope they give him a call, so I can buy a jersey.
