Kenny Omega to Defend AEW World Title Against Fenix at New Years Smash

AEW confirmed today that the December 30 edition of Dynamite will be headlined by a World Championship match between AEW Champion Kenny Omega and Rey Fenix. The two were set to face off in a title tournament match a couple months ago but Fenix was unable to compete and instead, Omega defeated Fenix’s brother Penta 0M. The two have faced off a couple times before and the matches were outstanding.
