Tonight on IMPACT, it was announced that Manik will defend the X-Division title against Rohit Raju and Chris Bey, and the Knockouts title will be on the line when Deonna Purazzo will defend her title against the longest reigning KO champ, Taya Valkyrie.
Mike’s Take: Purazzo vs Taya is a fresh matchup that will likely be a show stealer. They can both flat out go. With Taya’s contract in flux, this could be very interesting.
The X-Division title match could be good if management allows it to happen and they remove all the gaga. But this three-way feud has seemingly lasted forever and is a rematch from Victory Road in September. Id be curious to see if they add the X-Division Cup winner to the match too, as IMPACT loves throwing as many people as they can in to one match, especially X-Division matches.
