Former UFC Featherweight champion Max Holloway will headline the first-ever UFC card on ABC against Calvin Kattar. The event will emanate from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi and will be co-streamed on ESPN+ on Saturday, January 16th at 3pm ET. Other main card fights announced are Tom Breese vs. Omari Akhmedov and David Zawada vs. Ramazan Emeev.
Mike’s Take: This is huge for the UFC. Having fights on Network TV on a Saturday afternoon reminds me of the old “Wide World of Sports” days. Holloway vs Kattar should be an excellent fight. Not too sure about the other ones though.
