New Japan Pro Wrestling’s David Finlay and Juice Robinson will be debuting this Tuesday night on IMPACT. A video aired after tonight’s No Surrender show of IMPACT announcing their arrival. This comes after many years of IMPACT trying to work things out with NJPW and build a relationship. NJPW is also working with AEW, as Kenta was just on Dynamite and Moxley is scheduled to defend his US title against Kenta on NJPW Strong. It appears that IMPACT, AEW, and New Japan have started a triumvirate of sorts.
Mike’s Take: Open borders is whats best for business for everyone involved. Im shocked that New Japan and Impact are working together again after AXS cancelled New Japan from their network. But time and money heals all wounds. 2021 should be an exciting year.
